We are seeking a highly skilled Test Analyst – Point of Sale to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on innovative retail solutions, ensuring the quality and reliability of our Point-of-Sale systems through rigorous manual and automated testing.

• Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for Point-of-Sale systems.
• Perform functional, system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software issues.
• Conduct API testing and utilize automated testing tools.
• Ensure adherence to structured test methods and processes.
• Document defects and track resolution using tools like Remedy or similar.
• Participate in Agile development processes and Scrum ceremonies.

• Degree or Diploma in Information Technology or related field (essential).
• Formal software testing training (ISEB, ISTQB CTFL) (essential).
• Advanced testing certification (ISTQB CTAL) (desired).

• Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Senior Test Analyst with manual testing, SQL, and Agile testing experience (essential).
• Strong knowledge of various testing types and methodologies (essential).
• Proven experience testing complex user interfaces (essential).
• Experience with API testing, automated testing tools, and configuration management systems (desired).
• Retail environment testing experience (desired).
• Familiarity with performance testing and user acceptance testing (desired).
• Experience with tools such as QC, QTP, Selenium, Test Complete, Robot Framework, or similar (desired).
